Ave, Joseph

Hail, Joseph, filled with divine grace,
in whose arms the Savior was carried
and under whose eyes He grew up:
blessed art thou among men
and blessed is Jesus,
the Son of thy dear Spouse.

Holy Joseph, chosen to be the father
of the Son of God,
pray for us in the midst of our cares
of family, health and work,
and deign to assist us
at the hour of our death.

Amen.

  2. No bother. I have not found this prayer in Latin. In fact, the prayer if quite difficult to find on the internet at all. Maybe someone who reads these pages can offer a translation. My Latin is in too much of a state of disrepair to give a good effort.

    Thanks for reading the blog.
